Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
By using The Sanctuary app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Not medical advice
The Sanctuary offers yoga, breathwork, and Ayurvedic lifestyle content for general wellbeing. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Dosha assessments are a traditional lifestyle lens, not a clinical instrument. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or managing a health condition. Stop any practice that causes pain.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials safe. You must be at least 16 to use the service. You can delete your account at any time from Profile — deletion is permanent.
Sanctuary Plus
- Sanctuary Plus is an optional paid subscription processed by Stripe. Prices and billing periods are shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Promotional codes grant access under the conditions stated with the code and may be time-limited or revoked for abuse.
- Statutory withdrawal and refund rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling of content, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
Content & ownership
The app's content — pose videos, voice guidance, illustrations, text — is owned by The Sanctuary or its licensors and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the app. Your practice data remains yours; see the Privacy Policy.
Availability & changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted operation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Sanctuary is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health).
